We’ve previously covered a lot of very nice considerably cheap memory foam mattress toppers, but today I’d like to share one that I clearly label my favorite topper. The Sensus memory foam topper most definitely deserves to be labeled premium memory foam topper with its extremely high quality, but not really cheap price.

The best thing about the Sensus memory foam topper is the high quality 5 LB almost pure Visco Elastic Memory Foam material. This is one of the few memory foam toppers and even memory foam mattresses on the market that is solely made only from Visco Elastic memory foam and is not mixed with any other ingredients that lower the quality. Actually this is the main reason why this topper is quite expensive compared to the market average, but its features are times better than all other memory foam combinations.

The Sensus memory topper comes in few variations all in the 5lb premium foam density. The two (2) inch memory foam pad variation is on almost medium market price ($179 for Full size and $209 for Queen size), but if you follow all my topper reviews, you’ll notice that I always suggest that topper with less than 3 inches is not recommended as it does not give you the original memory foam floating feeling that a good size mattress or topper delivers. This makes it almost as regular foam topper and its virtually wasting your money. On the other hand the three (3) inch memory foam topper variation is quite better, but it comes at a bit higher market price - $259 for Full size and $289 for Queen size....

In the beginning I wasn’t even considering to talk about the four (4) inch Sensus memory foam topper, but it will be nice just to mention it here. The main reason why I think I’ll just be wasting my time is that the 4 inch Sensus topper in 5 LB density comes on almost unreasonably high price. The 4” Full size Sensus topper is around $400 and the Queen size is $469. I’m not sure if anyone can be so wasteful to spend such a large amount of money on topper since they can get some good memory foam mattress for around $500-$600 dollars. (Note: I’ll start reviewing the memory foam mattresses very soon, just to finish few more popular toppers first)

Buying premium quality memory foam topper is really up to you, but if it was me, I’d prefer to get some low-to-medium priced memory foam topper or if I have the money and I’m willing to spend for high quality topper than better invest a bit more and get the real memory foam mattress and not to fool myself that a good topper will bring me the perfect feel. Yes, I do agree that memory mattresses around $500-$600 are not with the best quality, but still they are quite better than toppers due to their multi-layer structure where different foam densities make the unique memory foam mattress feel.

For conclusion I’d say that the 3 inch sensus memory foam toppers are really the best memory foam toppers that I’ve seen in terms of quality and I’d strongly suggest that if you have the money it’s a really smart buy.
