This is my first recommendation if you’ve decided to skip the mattress topper and go right for the mattress itself. The TempSoma 12in mattress is well liked among buyers. What’s worth mentioning on the bad side is that the mattress has a pretty strong smell when you unpack it and it can stay there for quite a while. Eventually the smell will disappear, but it may take a while (even more than a weak to be honest). Anyway the smell is absolutely worth ignoring considering the price of the mattress. The price differs depending on the size – the Twin size will cost you $482.74, the Full size goes for $578.26, Queen for $586.24 and you can get the King size for $719.42 – shipping is included in all prices making them very low considering the prices of similar products. The mattress is a great deal in my opinion and if you can afford it I suggest you go for it without hesitation…

How can I purchase a king mattress?
If you are still looking for it you might find it in some Sam’s Clubs. This item is available at the SEVERN, MD location, for example.
We have been sleeping on this mattress since 07/2009. You may spend more money but you won’t get a better night’s sleep…

Can this 12 inch foam mattress be used on top of an existing mattress?
We purchased a tempasoma matterss from Sams’ about 1 year ago. My husband and I both loved it for about 9-10 months, now his side has broken down and become very soft, like he’s sleeping in a hole. This is causing a lot of back and side pain and sleeplessn nights for both of us. My side has held up fine, I don’t think the quailiy will support someone 6’2 and 210 lbs.
This is interesting, I am 6′ and weigh in at 295# My bride of 35 years is just about 1/2 my weight and had terrible back pain before we bought our Temp-Soma. Our experience is that this matteress gets better longer it has been in service.
I’ve actually been thinking of buying a second one for our camper.
I second Mike’s comment, I’m only 145lbs, bought this in Aug 2007 from Sam’s, one side is caving in, giving me back pain after a night’s sleep. What to do?
This is a follow up. I was able to get Sleep Innovations to send me a replacement (in the process). Mattress has a 10 year warranty. Call their CS 732-263-0800.
All I need to do is provide receipt/picture of the dip(place a broom stick/yard stick across the surface to show the curve). Everything done on-line, what a breeze! Go luck guys
