Q: What is visco elastic foam or memory foam?
A: Visco-Elastic memory foam is a unique oil-based polyurenthane flexible foam, originally developed in the 1970′s by NASA (national aeronautics and space administration). This foam was invented to be used to support the astronauts by relieving the incredible G-Forces experienced in the human body during takeoff and landing.
Q: How does it work?
A: Its visco-elastic properties allow it to automatically sense your weight and temperature, and respond by molding to your body’s exact shape and position. Continuously reacting to the weight and body temperature of the user, the visco-elastic memory foam dramatically minimize pressure points, thus reducing tossing and turning, significantly improving blood circulation and reducing pain and discomfort with disruptive sleep.
Q: Does the memory foam leave body impressions?
A: During the night, our foam gently mold to your body. In the morning it slowly, surely recovers from compression. But as with all mattresses over time some compression is natural.
Q: What are some examples of how toppers are used?
A: You have a spring mattress has given many years of good service (or perhaps not). Rather than spending $500 -1500 on a new bed you can transform your bed by simply adding one of our toppers at a fraction of that cost. It can also be used on foam beds, latex beds, sofa bed or a fold away bed.
Q: Do the mattress kits include a box spring?
A: Our mattress kit do not include a boxspring or foundation. Inexpensive foundations can be found at any local sleep shop for much less that it would cost in shipping to get it to your home. If your current base is solid and does not have any coils in it you will not have to purchase a new base. Foam mattress perform best on solid foundations. When a foam mattress is on a solid foundation there is almost no motion transfer between sleepers.
Q: Do I need to rotate my memory foam mattress?
A: During the first 30 days, we recommend that you frequently rotate your mattress from head to foot to assure proper breaking in and even weight distribution.
You should never flip your memory mattress.
Q: How do you get a mattress or topper in such small package?
A: A special process enables us to dramatically reduce the size of the mattress before its packaged and shipped. When the package is opened, the system automatically returns to its full size with no loss of performance.
Q: How do I set up the system and restore it to full size?
A: Its simple, place the package in the approximate location where you want the bed to be. Make sure that there is enough room surrounding the package, because the product will expand approximately 3 times the package size. Then just open the package carefully and in about 1 hour the mattress will expand to approximately 75% of its original size. Within 24hrs it will return to 100% of its fill size.
Q: Will memory foam material make me hot and sweaty?
A: No memory foam is temperature smart. It relates to your body, your temperatures and your sleep style. Your natural body heat allows the foam to create your own personalized comfort.
Q: Does a memory foam mattress require any special care or protective pad and hot do I clean it?
A: None whatsoever. Do not machine, wash or dry memory foam pillows or mattress pads. The foam can be spot cleaned using a mild detergent. Air dry it away from direct sunlight.

I purchased a 12 inch biopedic visco elastic memory foam twin mattress from qvc on 6/08
The mattress is deteriorating the foam does not return when layed on. It should be covered under warranty .
Please let me know what I can do

We purchased a 12″ total comfort memory foam matterss by Tempsoma from Sam’s club. We both loved it until a few months ago when my husband’s side started to deteroirate and get really soft and not return to shape. Now he is starting to have back and side pain and not be able to sleep through the night. My side has not done this. He is 6’2 and weighs about 225. He says he feels like he is sleeping in a hole. Should this have happened? I though we had finally found a bed that was comfortable for both of us. I really don’t want to go back to a traditional mattress.
I love our memory foam mattress, I was in a bad accident 6 years ago and this is why we purchased a memory foam at that time for my back and hips. We usually rotate about every 6 months, about a year ago by back and hips started bothering me while sleeping and when I got out of bed I was stiff and sore. We rotated the mattress and everything was fine, this started again recently so we rotated again and this time it hasn’t helped, I haven’t looked at the mattress but last night when I went to bed, I felt like there was an indention I was laying in, my husband is a larger man and now I am sleeping on his side. When does a memory foam mattress need replaced and should this be doing that?

how do you get the new odor out of the matteress. I have had it opened up for over 3 weeks and the smell/odor is still so strong that I would not put it on my bed because I’m afraid it would make me ill to smell it all night.

I bought a memory foam mattress in a box from K-Mart, I have given it over 3 days and the mattress has not expanded to the 6\ inches that it is supposed to be it said on the box that it take 48 hours it has been well over 48 hours and it is only up to 3\ I measured it to be sure, I like the mattress and have slept on it, it does not bother my back like the standard spring mattress that I had did. Please help !!!!!
I also got the 6in mattress from Kmart…. I opened it 5 hours ago and it is expanded to 4 inchs in some parts and 5 in others….the corners are still completely flat and compressed, I’m going to go to bed on my old mattress now and hopefully when i wake up it is expanded to the promised 6 inches……….If the corners still look the same then i am exchanging it I think…..No reason to waste the time willing it to expand…….I bought it to sleep on not watch expand for days and days……Hope it works out.
i bought a 12″ visco mattress. I am not sure how long it has been on the shelves. But when we opned it. the center only expanded to about 8 inches and the four sides about 4 inches. what should I do?? the store manager said flip it over. We did. several times and it has been 2 weeks now.
The King size novaform gel mattress topper seems to be too large for our odd size bed.
Is it safe to cut the topper to fit our bed?
Already have bought and tried a gel topper for a full bed, that we use on our camping trailer bed and it is great!

We bought the mattress for our trailer and loved it. Will it be harmed if we leave it at the trailer during the winter months where it will probably freeze, then thaw.flio
My question: I want to leave my memory foam topper in the shack that will reach freezing point during the winter when we are not there. We will heat up the shack when we will go once in a while during the winter…and plan to sleep there. Is it a good idea ??? Then, can we use it just a few hours after arriving ?
I just purchased two full size 2.5″ gel foam toppers from Costco for a boat. Both mattresses will require some trimming to fit their respective areas. Will trimming them change their basic characteristics? I have slept on each one and they make a tremendous difference in comfort.
My memory mattress said that it wouldexpand to it’s full size in 72hrs. Should I not sleep on it for 3 days?
Hello,
I just purchased a seven zone mattress topper from Kohl’s. We love it but it says on the paperwork that it shouldn’t be exposed to heat. We also have a heated mattress pad and electric blanket on our bed. Are they safe to use with this product? We have them unplugged at the moment but it’s gotten very cold this week and would love to be able to use them if it’s safe.
